I know that the most common way that pinworms are transmitted are by itching the rear end and then putting your fingers in your mouth (in a nutshell..), but there's also retroinfection, which I've read is rare, but once the eggs hatch, the baby worms can crawl right back into your rectum and live in you without even going through your whole digestive system. If I shower every morning in order to wash off the eggs, will that prevent this from happening?
