If a car bomb was struck by a missile would the impact cause the explosives to detonate?

I'm a writer (not a terrorist) but I do have an idea about a truck bomb that is to be detonated by a cell phone. The question is if my hero was to shoot the truck with a shoulder fired missile would the explosives in the truck also explode?
