Has anyone taken their crawling baby camping?

my baby is 15 mos and crawls. we couldn't get a sitter, so we decided to take him with. He doesn't walk yet, but crawls. Just wondering what was your experience w/ a baby this age in a campsite? We camp in a cooler climate in a tent where mosquitoes rule.
